Submitting a Complaint to the City

If you need to submit a complaint about any one of the following issues, just send us a quick email, give us a call at 250-546-3023, send us an email, or mail a letter to City of Armstrong, Box 40, Armstrong, B.C., V0E 1B0. You must include your name and phone number so we can verify information if necessary. Your information is completely confidential. Anonymous complaints will not be dealt with. 

Burnt Out Street Light?

Include an address or description of where the street light is located and whether the pole is wood or metal. The City will request either BC Hydro, or one of our contractors, to have the light repaired.

Pot Holes or Loose Manhole Cover?

Include the street and approximate house number of where the pot hole or loose manhole cover is located.

Garbage Not Picked Up?

Include your civic address and let us know what was missed.  Please be aware that there is a 2 bag or 2 garbage can limit.

Recycling Not Picked up?

Recycling is no longer looked after by the City of Armstrong.  A stewardship, called Recycle BC, now oversees the program and you can view their pamphlet on what they accept and don't by clicking here.  Their main website is
