Winter Maintenance Policy

To ensure that the City of Armstrong's roads and sidewalks are maintained during winter conditions for the safe passage of vehicles and pedestrians, in a timely manner, and in accordance with priorities identified by Council, the City of Armstrong has established the Winter Maintenance Policy.

Riparian Area Assessments

NOTICE: Starting March 17, 2021 The City’s Environmental Consultants, Western Water Associates, will be conducting Riparian Area Assessments on both Deep Creek and Meighan Creek. If you see the crews in or around Armstrong creeks, be aware they are conducting works for the City to better understand our aquatic and riparian habitats.

Public Statement - Legal Rezoning of Affordable Housing Site

The City of Armstrong is aware that concerns have been raised in the community regarding whether the City has met its legislative obligations in the rezoning and redesignation of property behind the Nor-Val Sports Centre Arena for an affordable housing project. Property Taxes & Homeowner Grant Changes

The due date for ALL properties was July 2, 2021. A 10% penalty has been applied to all outstanding Property Taxes including any unclaimed Homeowner Grants. To claim your Homeowner Grant through the new application process established by the Province of B.C. for 2021, go online at
